Illustrator to HTML5 Canvas Plug-in Released
Something that has been sorely missing for the canvas element are authoring tools, and more specifically a way of getting existing artwork into canvas in the first place. You may remember a blog post I made earlier in the year about the challenge, and potential workaround. Today, Microsoft’s Mike Swanson has released his AI>Canvas converter plug-in that alleviates the problem. This is a big deal.
